The Turkish Chess Federation has the pleasure of inviting IM(WGM) Angela Borsuk, IM(WGM) Sopio Gvetadze, WGM Anna Burtasova, WGM Anastasia Karlovich, WIM Nargiz Umudova, WIM Kubra Ozturk, WIM Betul Cemre Yildiz, Emel Kaya, Selen Sop and Ezgi Menzi to participate in Angora WGM Chess Tournament.

Turkish U18 Girl's champion Kaya Emel, played a contentious game against WGM Burtasova Anna, and managed to get the full point. WIM Ozturk Kubra and WIM Yildiz,Betul drew their games, whereas IM(WGM) Gvetadze Spoio and WIM Umudova Nargiz won.

Kaya,Emel won a worth seeing game against IM(WGM) Borsuk,Angela who is the highest rated player of the tournament. WIM Yildiz,Betul won her game throughout which she kept the edge. WIM Ozturk,Kubra vs WGM Karlovich,Anastasia ended in draw while IM(WGM) Burtasova,Anna and IM(WGM) Gvetadze,Sopio won their games.

9th round game will start at 9.00 a.m.

The talented young player Menzi,Ezgi has blundered his queen away and lost the game againts strong player IM(WGM) Gvetadze,Sopio. In the game of WGM Karlovich vs WIM Ozturk after the opening with both sides going for their plans and than game petered into a draw after few exchanges. WIM Umudova drew her game againts WIM Yildiz while IM(WGM) Borsuk and IM(WGM) Gvetadze won their games.
