The most important game in the 6th round was GM Salvador vs. FM Firat which ended with an impressive win by the Spanish GM. The Spanish GM, who was black against FM Burak, sacrificed two pieces, got a position which was hard to defend by his opponent and won the game.

IM Esen and IM Can's games ended in draws after rook endings while IM Mert Erdogdu managed to win his game after a long struggle.
